It has been reported that yesterday evening the face of Chanel Mademoiselle bags married her Green Lantern Co-star, Ryan Reynolds, in a private ceremony in South Carolina.
News suggest that the 25-year-old actress and her boyfriend of one year got married yesterday (September 9) at Boone Hall plantation in secret with only close friends and relatives. As the face of Chanel and friend to Karl Lagerfeld it was no surprise that the Gossip Girl actress is said to have worn a Chanel wedding dress.
Florence Welch, of Florence and the machine fame, is said to have performed three songs at the private ceremony.
This is the first marriage for Blake Lively and the second for Ryan, who was previously married to Scarlett Johansson.
Blake Lively’s ex-boyfriend Penn Badgley has spoken out about the wedding and he is “so happy for her” and her husband. “I actually didn’t know until last night, but I think it’s fantastic,” the 25-year-old actor told People. “I couldn’t be happier for her… I think it’s everything that it should be.”
