Top 3 Beauty Tips From Paris!

October 29, 2012

After living in California, moving to Paris and stepping into the world of Parisian primness called for a fashion makeover! Out with the flip-flops and in with the black wedges and boots. Not only did my wardrobe need a makeover, but I also had to say goodbye to my crush on smoky eyes and settle for a more natural look.

I have been on the prowl for beauty secrets to looking more Parisian and here’s three trends that I can’t get enough of:

1) Nude Skin & Bright Red Lips

Without a doubt, living in Paris encouraged me to keep things simple yet chic. Layering on products is unnecessary, less is more. But that doesn’t mean you have to go unnoticed. Keep your concealer light but make your lips POP. Bright red lips are in. Taylor Swift rocks the look at the Elie Saab Spring Summer Show during Fashion week.

2) Flushed Pink Cheeks

According to Vogue and the look on the streets of Paris, pink cheeks are in! Flooding the runways in Paris during fashion week, the look we love was seen all over the Vivienne Westwood runway this Autumn Winter season.

3) The Bushy Brow

Maybe I wouldn’t go as far as Miranda Kerr’s crystal-encrusted eyebrows seen on the Chanel runway during fashion week in Paris, but “it” girl Arizona Muse shows us that the classic bushy brow is gorgeous.
