After her controversial departure from Vogue Paris where Emmanuelle Alt was her successor, Roitfeld has proved that nothing will keep her down. On her new appointment as Harper’s Bazaar’s newest global fashion director Hearst Magazines International CEO Duncan Edwards said: “This collaboration marks the first time anything like this has been done, and we’re very excited about what Carine will bring to BAZAAR editions around the world. She is a visionary in the fashion world, and we are so happy to be working with her.”

With her signature smoky eye and nude lips it was only a matter of time before Roitfeld added beauty collaborations to her resume. Roitfeld recently launched a makeup line for M.A.C Cosmetics and is now rumored to be adding a signature fragrance entitled “Forgive Me”. Although a “notification of possible opposition” has been reportedly filed against Roitfeld’s trademark Fashionista reports that not only did Roitfeld take out a trademark for her fragrance this past January but she also took out the trademark on an entire range of beauty products under the name “Forgive Me”.
