Kate Bosworth marries Michael Polish in a custom made Oscar de la Renta gown
Last Sunday, the always stunning Kate Bosworth married Michael Polish at the Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Montana. The glowing bride turned heads in a custom made Oscar de la Renta gown complete with a breath-taking train measuring eight feet long and sixteen feet wide and a cathedral length veil. Internationally renowned and beloved, de la Renta understands how to dress a woman; his designs encompass old world glamour with a modern romantic flair. The actress gushes, “’Oscar is the most legendary designer, in my opinion, ever. He has such a great mark on American elegance, and I’m such an admirer of his life and his work. There is no one else for me.”
Kate Bosworth radiates timeless elegance, mirroring Oscar’s gowns. So it was no surprise that Oscar designed a dress with a crisp, clean and classic strapless front, allowing Kate’s beauty to take center stage, while still incorporating facets for dramatic impact. The waterfall of ivory satin fabric that trailed Kate on her walk down the aisle was nothing short of exquisite romance. One of the more spectacular details of the custom made gown was the cascading pleated fabric starting at the very top of the dress’ back, which seamlessly flowed into the brilliant train. Kate completed her fairytale look with vintage jewels from Stephen Russell, including a diamond tiara and studs, and a perfectly appropriate chignon bun.
Congratulations to the bride and groom on their special day!
