Kate Moss: model, designer… and now fashion editor
Kate Moss is certainly one stylish all-rounder. The 39-year-old has been branching out from her supermodel roots for some time now; she first kicked off the designer collaboration trend by launching an exclusive collection with Topshop back in 2007, with the British high-street store just confirming she’ll be reprising her role for Spring/Summer ’14.
Ms Moss has clearly been feeling a bit nostalgic – rumours are also circulating that she’ll be reuniting with her ex, Johnny Depp in the film clip for Paul McCartney’s latest song.
Design and music aside, it’s also been confirmed Kate will be a contributing fashion editor at Vogue UK. The cover girl, who has starred on 33 covers since March 1993, will be very hands-on after getting the big tick of approval from her new editor-in-chief. “I am absolutely delighted that Kate is going to work with us in this new role,” said Vogue UK’s Alexandra Shulman. “Her undoubtedly brilliant sense of style, depth of fashion knowledge and understanding of what makes a powerful image will be exciting to see on the pages of British Vogue. I am really looking forward to working with her on ideas.”
However, it doesn’t just stop there: Kate will again hit the stands in December with a risqué shoot for Playboy’s 60th anniversary issue… And yes, there are bunny ears involved.
