There is something delectably retro about a slip dress and right now designers and the high street alike are harking back to 90’s grunge with their interpretations of the nearly naked dress.
The great thing about a slip dress is that it offers endless styling opportunities. Essentially the most basic form of a dress, there are countless ways to make it new and fresh; invest in one that you really love and, like your faithful ankle boots or beloved biker jacket, it will become one of the hardest working items in your wardrobe.
Layering is at the heart of taking a simple dress and transforming it into a great Autumn/Winter outfit.
