Hot on the heels of her recent nuptials to Johannes Huebl, Olivia Palermo is now pairing up with another man: Aquazzura’s Edgardo Osorio. This September, the style icon will be adding another string to her sartorial bow as she launches a six piece shoe collection in collaboration with Florence-based label Aquazzura. If her Carolina Herrera wedding jumper and fabulous FROW ensembles are anything to go by, we suspect this is going to be one seriously sexy shoe collection. Expect high heels, plenty of glamour, and an abundance of feminine details.
Aquazzura was launched by Central Saint Martins graduate Osorio in 2011, and has quickly become a firm favourite with the fashion set, particularly Olivia Palermo. In fact so often does she wear Aquazzura shoes, she’s become a bit of an unofficial ambassador for the brand. Often papped wearing Osorio’s creations, a partnership between these two was an inevitable progression.
Olivia Palermo x Aquazzura has been designed with the modern woman in mind. Dubbed a ‘survival pack’, the collection takes inspiration from Aquazzura’s statement style whilst reflecting Olivia’s enviable wardrobe and eclectic accessories. One particular shoe was inspired by a favourite piece from Olivia’s closet – a vintage crystal Victorian necklace!

Olivia believes that ‘every woman should own a perfect black pump, a go anywhere bootie, a simple strappy party sandal, sexy lace-up sandals and a statement boot that goes with everything’, and it looks like her collection has definitely got all those bases covered. As well as the stunning costume jewellery inspired stiletto, the collection includes over the knee boots, lace up gladiator sandals, suede and snake pumps, metallic leather sandals, and a suede boogie crafted from Aquazzura’s patented ultra soft cashmere leather.
