How To Stack Your Bracelets

How to stack your bracelets

In addition to layering your necklaces, stacking your bracelets is also the rage right now. But you can very quickly go from trendy to Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean. You don’t want to have so many bracelets on one arm that you can barely lift it. We have some tips from experts on how to rock this trend.

Stage 1

Start with one hand before you take on two. It is probably best to go with your non-dominant hand and then choose ONE kind of metal to start with. You can go with different sizes, but for now stick with the one kind of metal. If you just want to do two bangles, that’s great.

Stage 2

After a while, you can start to experiment more and mix your metals. Alana Blank and Rachel Lavipour are the CEO and Designer and COO of Phyllis & Rosie Jewelry, a gorgeous contemporary jewellery line. They said don’t be afraid to mix metals. “We are digging rose gold and yellow gold right now. It adds richness to the look.”

Stage 3

Add a statement piece like the Phyllis and Rosie Xena cuff. Blank and Lavipour said this will add texture and “make the arm party look more substantial.”

Stage 4

Try stacking bracelets on both arms. This is not a look you probably want to rock at work but definitely live it up on the weekends!
