We’re going places with ONA bags
For those of you who are snap happy or don’t want to miss a single photographic moment we have whipped up the best camera travel accessory for you. ONA bags was launched in 2010 with a simple vision of offering style-conscious photographers’ bags and accessories that compliment their life and style. No longer does your camera bag have to be clumpy while on the move; it can compliment your daily underground commute or bicycle ride.
As an avid photographer herself, founder Tracy Foster tried all sorts of camera carrying tricks before designing her first ONA bag. ‘I loathed carrying a camera bag that was clunky and distracting. I even tried stuffing my camera into a stylish non-camera bag, wrapping it in scarves or t-shirts and hoping it wouldn’t come in contact with my other stuff. Inevitably, it did. And my camera ended up with the nicks and scratches to prove it.’
Not only is ONA an every day camera bag for budding photographers but a travelling buddy; their recent blog series Where ONA Goes highlights the worldwide functionality of their range.
Actress Amanda Crew is one of ONA’s community photographers featuring on Where ONA Goes; she was recently caught flaunting her Leather Brixton bag and revealed her love for its discrete design. ‘I travel a lot for work and I was searching for a camera bag that didn’t look like I was going on a safari with my grandparents – you know the ones I’m talking about. I fell in love with ONA when I saw an ONA bag featured on a blog I follow. A lot of people have come up to me asking me where I got my Leather Brixton. They’re always shocked when I tell them it’s a camera bag.’
Michelle and Kelly are a fashionable couple also featured on the roaming blog series. They became ONA family promoters after Michelle bought Kelly a Bowery bag for Christmas and in turn Kelly purchased a Brookyln satchel for Michelle. Their recent European ventures have captured moments from Leeds Castle, Kent to Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France with their favourite bags in tow.
Sam Ciurdar boasts an impressive film-making resume and recently turned his hand to full-time photography. ONA thought Sam was a perfect storyteller for the Where ONA Goes chronicles. Sam recently barked on a road trip to the Pacific Northwest with his wife and took his trusty Leather Prince Street ONA. Creating memories is one of Sam’s favourite pastimes; the Prince Street bag gives him the freedom to leisurely live behind the camera while soaking it all in.
Tracy’s desire to make a photographers journey more sleek and luxurious while ensuring camera safety has become a phenomenon on city and rural streets alike. View the world through your lens with the aid of an ONA.
