Best Dressed at the 2016 Grammy Awards
Last night while we were all tucked up in bed here in England, there was yet another amazing red award ceremony happening across the pond. Yesterday, musicians, models and muses alike all descended on Los Angeles for the 58th Grammy Awards. Held in the Staples Centre in Hollywood, there are always too many great looks to choose from, but we’ve narrowed it down to our top five best dressed ladies of the night.
As always Taylor Swift was on point with her red carpet look. She wore an Atelier Versace two piece, a bright orange bandeau with a hot pink floor length skirt with a waist-high split, and debuted a new edgier bob hairstyle. Although some say that pink and orange will never go together, this look proves just the opposite! Swift’s evening was just as killer as her outfit; collecting three Grammy’s with her 2014 album 1989: Best Album of the Year, Best Vocal Pop Album and Best Music Video, obviously for Bad Blood. This made her the first woman ever to win Best Album of the Year twice, congratulations Taylor!
Bad Blood co-star and one of Taylor’s original squad members, Selena Gomez, looked equally as gorgeous as they walked the carpet together at last night’s ceremony. Gomez chose to a dar number by Calvin Klein, paired with her signature glossy curls, a striking smoky eye and bold hooped earrings.
From runway to red carpet, the Hadid sisters always look fantastic, and last night was no exception. Bella, accompanied her boyfriend and now Grammy winner, The Weeknd, to the prestigious ceremony. Making their red carpet debut as a couple, Bella wore yet another plunging gown which showed off her incredible figure. The black Alexandre Vauthier number looked classy as ever on the model, as she chose to keep her hair slicked back and makeup elegant with a simple black flick of eyeliner.
Chrissy Teigan’s pregnancy style has been flawless so far and her red carpet style doesn’t disappoint. The Lip Sync Battle host wore a white Yousef Al-Jasmi gown, with a pearly white cape and of course, accessorised with lots of diamonds. Her hair was slicked back into a pony tail, and was paired with a simple eye look and a matte nude lip. Another hit for famed stylist Monica Rose!
And last but not least, Kaley Cuoco looked super glamourous in a sparkling white jumpsuit. The simple Naeem Khan jumpsuit had a gorgeous cut out back and looked modern despite the vintage throwback in the form of flared trousers. The material was heavily beaded and carried Cuoco through the red carpet, presenting and later to the after party. Her smoky eye look perfect with her California beachy waves.
