Need a little help getting to the gym now the mornings are chillier?
The best way to motivate yourself to get to the gym is by making sure you’ve got some cute new workout clothes, right? We don’t need to tell you that the leaves falling is a great excuse to update your wardrobe.
At YCB we are always on the lookout for exciting brands and we’ve stumbled across another, just in time to start planning your fall fitness regime, because really, which style icon doesn’t rock the athleisure look?
Asquith London is the UK’s original Yoga and Pilates active wear brand, and this 1970s inspired season doesn’t disappoint!
Alice Asquith, founder and creative director tells us: “This collection has been inspired by one of my favourite decades for music and fashion: the 1970s. This era also marked the popularity of yoga soaring in the West with a surging interest in both spirituality and physical fitness.”
Every collection includes everything you need for yoga and Pilates practise: yoga tops including vests, short sleeve tops, long sleeve tops and flattering cover-ups. The yoga pants include classics such as bamboo harem pants, capri pants and leggings.
Organic yoga clothes are becoming part of many women’s everyday wardrobes, therefore fitted, dynamic styles that are practical to move in ‘on-mat’ but don’t look too sporty ‘off-mat’ are key. Comfortable, flattering and elegant collections with subtle detailing remain our signature style.
Asquith is defined by comfortable and high quality pieces which are all ethically made in Europe using the best organic cottons and performance bamboo. This season has used a broad palette of colours including disco oranges and bright lemonades set against deep purples and greys.
We love a good graphic tee, especially for work out gear, and this collection on point. As well as some fashionable 70s patterns like geometrics and leopard print, some tees include the phrases ‘Boogie Tee’ and ‘Flow with It’.
These leopard print leggings are a YCB favourite – Forget your leopard print coat, black is always a chic option, all you need is a leather jacket this outfit to take you from your barre class to brunch.
