Though many New Yorkers hit up The Governor’s Ball (sorry if you went Sunday) the real major fashion was seen at the Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic in Liberty Park, New Jersey. That’s right. New Jersey. But this classy event brought in some a-listers and they did not play around when it came to hot summer fashion. Check out these gorgeous looks.
Jennifer Lawrence
Though she has taken a little break from acting (her return is coming starting with the new XMen film Dark Phoenix) the bride to be has not taken a break from fashion. She looked positively beautiful in a blush pink Rosie Assoulin with Chloe Gosselin sandals. Add in those perfectly beachy waves and you have essential JLaw.
Emily Ratajkowski
Still can’t pronounce her last name swiftly but boy can this girl dress. The model, actress and activist wore a Maryam Nassir Zadeh knee-length skirt and bright crop top, paired with Andrea Wazen mules, Rixx Eyewear sunglasses and a bucket bag by Carolina Santo Domingo. Even more amazingly, she wore this outfit earlier in the day to run around the city and run errands with her dog.
Joan Smalls
It is hard to wear a suit in the summer but it helps if it is made out of eyelet, is white and features tiny shorts and essentially a bra as a top.
Nicky Hilton Rothschild
Rothschild looked classic polo match in the vein of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (hopefully minus the whole “I hear you’re a hooker” confrontation) proving once again she is the Hilton sister with the best style.
Julianne Moore
The Oscar winner played it cool in her gorgeous Givenchy dress and then she protected her gorgeous skin by pairing it with a blazer, cool shades and peep-toe heels.
Coco Rocha
The model was the epitome of summer chic in her sharp white dress and shades.
