Bespoke Aesthetics is a Medi-Spa in the heart of Westminster, offering customised services and carefully tailored skin treatments in a private and comfortable atmosphere for both men and women.

Adrienne Shostak Bespoke Aesthetics Owned and operated by Adrienne Shostak, a highly skilled aesthetician with qualifications that include extensive training at the London School of Beauty and Make-Up, Bespoke Aesthetics combines the scientific with the holistic to address the unique skincare needs and concerns of every client and each session includes “a little feel good factor” like a soothing hand massage to help you de-stress and feel rejuvenated both inside and out.

Before the start of each session, Adrienne holds a one-to-one consultation with every client whether its their first treatment or their thirtieth. This is to carefully calibrate and optimise the results of each session, revealing the very best of your personal beauty!

Two lucky ladies from Your Coffee Break had the pleasure of visiting Bespoke Aesthetics to experience these highly customised skin care services for themselves and indulge in an afternoon of bespoke beauty!

Sean, our PR girl had a lactic acid peel at 30%, which was then followed by a round of IPL or Intense Pulsed Light. Derived from naturally occurring acids, lactic peels are best for sensitive skin and hydration as they only thin the epidermis instead of burning it entirely. Unlike some medical-grade peels, the skin peels at Bespoke Aesthetics are not given at a one-size fits-all strength but instead are administered at a concentration that ensures effectiveness while minimising any discomfort.

IPL works by releasing a concentrated burst of broad-spectrum light in a highly targeted area and is an excellent way to treat acne, rosacea and other medical disorders of the skin. While Intense Pulse Light can cause scarring when performed by an untrained practitioner, Adrienne has had years of training and insists on using only high-quality equipment like the UK-manufactured IPL machine she uses for her own treatments.

In the second round of our afternoon at Bespoke Aesthetics, I was very lucky to receive a dermal-rolling treatment, which helps to promote the production of collagen and elastin. Also known as micro-needling, dermal-rolling works by rolling teeny-tiny needles into the skin. This treatment does not burn or thin the dermis but instead stimulates activity in this layer of skin to strengthen its matrix of collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans. Because product absorption is dramatically increased by this procedure, Adrienne does the dermal-rolling with an anti-oxidant rich green tea oil and often follows it up with a collagen mask.

Somewhat surprisingly, I found the micro-needle roller quite pleasant and the procedure helped relieve some of the tension in my forehead while bringing a glow and feeling of warmth to the surface of my skin. Finishing off my treatment was a soothing, intensely hydrating moisturizer and facial roll with a cooling jade roller.

Though the treatments we received were a bit more scientific than a standard facial, we experienced no burning, swelling or extreme redness afterward and were practically party-ready by the time we stepped into the lift to go down to the lobby!
