Getting a manicure can make you feel brand new, the Nail Bar is a great way for an in and out pick me up! We loved our Shellac nails, with an amazing selection of colours, all perfect for Spring. If you’re having a bad hair day we recommend blowing your troubles away with a 30-minute wash, dry and style. They have a fabulous menu of styles to choose from, from softly tousled waves to a retro up do, making it the perfect pit stop before date night.
Of course a trip to Benefit wouldn’t be complete without adding some gorgeous new products to our beauty drawers. Wandering around the store, pink champagne in hand, we could quite possibly have raided the shelves and slathered ourselves in every product available but we managed to control ourselves (just) and narrowed things down to bring you our top five picks.
1. Lollitint is the perfect little product to add a flirty flush to your lips and cheeks. We were amazed by its staying power and the colour can be built up to be as subtle or as deep as you fancy.
2. POREfessional has to be the product of the moment for Benefit, perfectly minimizing pores for the ultimate smooth base and flawless skin. Our beauty editor is already a huge fan and we’re inclined to agree that it’s a must have!
3. Of course to build on your perfect base one needs the perfect foundation and the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow is just that. The light touch gives a natural finish and this wonder in a bottle not only evens out your skin tone but also has a plumping effect to smooth fine lines and helps protect the skins from all the nasties of environmental stresses.
4. We’ll admit it, we were originally drawn to the Total Moisture facial cream because of it’s totally gorge packaging. However we are happy to report that not only does it dress up our bathroom shelf, it also offers complete hydration with an almost instant skin quenching effect. Think of it as a litre of Evian in the form of a cream.
5. Of course we couldn’t possible start a conversation about Benefit beauty products without a mention of their They’re Real! Mascara. It’s the UK’s no.1 mascara and not without reason, giving length, volume and a lift to really open up the eye.
