Say hello to the YCB teams new favourite makeup brand! We’ve been squealing over the beautiful packaging and product from the English Mineral Makeup Company in the office this week.

Founded by mother and daughter duo Jeanette and Grace Burrows, the English Mineral Makeup Company was founded on the belief that your skin deserves the best. The range of makeup contains no nasty ingredients that are often found in your everyday makeup!

Using 100% natural mineral ingredients, this luxury brand is truly a treat to the skin, and your skin really does deserve the best! Designed to give you a healthy glow and perfect finish, we couldn’t wait to give a selection of these beautiful products a whirl.

First off – can we discuss the packaging? Super cute, and we just love the pumpkin carriage charm detail on the ribbon tied box, such a lovely touch and perfect for gifting.

We can confirm that the contents of the boxes are just as impressive as the look. The foundations glided effortlessly onto our skin and blended in superbly. It gave a lovely natural ‘your skin but better’ finish and didn’t appear cakey or obvious. Just the look we wanted!

One of our absolute favourites and new makeup bag staples is the gorgeous and extremely versatile ‘Fairy Godmother‘. Designed to be used as either a primer, highlighter or a finishing product to be worn over your foundation, this really is our own makeup fairy godmother! This little miracle product feels lovely on the skin, and we sweep over our cheekbones for a lovely illuminating effect, offering a subtle yet effective glow. Filled with jojoba oil and rose hip oil, this is also nourishing and moisturising for the skin. A must-have!

The English Mineral Makeup Company is also cruelty free, and the majority of the range is vegan friendly. If you’re unsure, just check the product guide on the website where it’s clearly stated! Happy shopping!
