Leading international digital marketing firm, DigitalNext, reveals how the Internet is the key to economic growth post-Brexit digital Britain in a new book, “Doing business after Brexit”.
Since the UK voted to leave the European Union on 23rd June 2016, the country has been in a state of uncertainty that has affected the economy and business landscape. With many businesses unsure of what the Brexit result means for them, it’s clear that both large organisations and SMEs are actively looking for practical direction on how to proceed.
Helen Tse, a Partner at Clarke Willmott in Manchester who specialises in Brexit, has written a new book that considers the legal issues, along with the immediate and future issues that businesses are likely to face. Approaching business professionals including Sir John Timpson and Manchester-based digital marketing agency Digital Next, she has written a book entitled “Doing Business After Brexit: A Practical Guide to the Legal Issues”, published by Bloomsbury Professional, which offers comprehensive guidance surrounding the transitional and future post Brexit era.
Manchester, Sharp Project based, Mark & Justin Blackhurst, founders of Digital Next, were approached by Helen to collaborate in her book because of their own high growth and their clients’ successes over the last 7 years. During this time their innovative approach to digital business have helped hundreds of companies to achieve success online and were seen as perfect contributors, demonstrating that you can still flourish despite the uncertainty surrounding Brexit negotiations.
On being asked to collaborate, Mark said, “When Helen approached us, it was initially a surprise, but on reflection we realise that we are the catalyst of many companies’ online success and therefore we’re in a prime position to pass on advice in the current economic climate. After experiencing international growth ourselves and opening offices overseas in cities such as Melbourne, Australia, we’re pleased that Digital Next has created some positivity around the uncertainty surrounding Brexit and made an impact in helping other businesses both in the UK and internationally”.
The two brothers are confident that the ever-growing digital revolution will help negate any Brexit negativity, explaining exactly how they envisage this happening in their own dedicated chapter in the book.
The release of the book is being celebrated with a number of national events, starting with the launch of the book on 20th September at Crowne Clark Whitehill, The Lexicon, Mount Street in Manchester.
Headline Speakers at the event include leading tech entrepreneur Scott Fletcher MBE, Sir John Timpson, Stephen Rosser from Clarke Willmott.
Brexit may well be one of the biggest stories in our lifetime and the book Doing Business After Brexit is intended to help you mitigate risk, take advantage of opportunities, approaching Brexit with a positive, proactive attitude.
