Reality TV star- slash-model-slash-style icon Olivia Palermo has been on our fashion radars since she broke out of the upper East side and onto our screens on MTV’s The City. There’s no stopping it! Miss Palermo has made a name for herself in the fashion industry as one of New York most fashionable elite without being labelled a reality TV star. Her impeccable taste in fashion wows the crowds at fashion week year after year and with fashion week just around the corner we thought we’d give you the low down on Palermo’s fashion week front row style.
It Girl Olivia Palermo has definitely built up her fashion credentials over the past few years. At Mecedez-Benz fashion week S/S ‘09 Olivia went for a demure classy look in slate-grey tweed dress with waist belt and stilettos to match.
Fast forward to the Elie Saab fall 2011 show and you wouldn’t even recognise the beautiful style chameleon. Her fashionista attitude shone through when she wore a capped-long-sleeve violet leopard print dress with leopard print waist belt. Paired with an embellished clutch and t-bar nude stilettos and she had a winning look.
At the Mulberry spring/summer 2012 show Olivia showed off her perfect figure in a metallic pink peplum top with dark jeans, she matched with classic nude accessories, a Mulberry ‘Harriet’ clutch in beige and pointed heels with bow, with just enough gold jewellery to distract the eyes. This demure look channelled some of her earlier looks but you know she meant business.
Front row of the Georgio Armani SS12 Prive Haute-Couture show Olivia opted more grunge than lady like, she wore leather trousers with a leather-sleeved jacket and fur gilet, top it off with Olivia’s glossy locks and deep red nails, she was already on top form for the A/W trends!
During the Paris AW12/13 fashion week, Olivia really showed us how it was done. She wore a Pink layered lace dress to show off with her beau Johannes Huebl. Palermo wore Audrey Hepburn like sunnies to finish off her pretty romantic style.
That same week in Paris, Olivia wore a tres-chic black and bronze dress with A-line skirt at the Dior show collection. With a black cardigan and lace-up pink-blush and black shoes, it was the opposite of the pretty almost 70’s look she showcased earlier in the week.
We can’t wait to see what miss Palermo has in store for us for the Spring Summer 2013 collections showing at fashion week this September.
I’m sure it’ll be a week remember.
