Katie Holmes appeared at New York Fashion week for the show of her latest collection Holmes & Yang.
Katie Holmes proved yesterday that she is more than an actress, as her latest collection for her fashion brand Holmes & Yang took the audience by storm.
The collection featured a mix of feminine and masculine tailoring. From the more glamorous side, the black leather camisole top paired with the olive green silk maxi skirt (complete with thigh slit) looks incredible, to the more casual ink blue leather biker jacket, this collection is a masterpiece of day-to-night chic attire.
This was the first time a Holmes & Yang collection had been shown at New York Fashion week, and as we reported yesterday, it was clear that Katie was nervous about the upcoming event.
Although there was little need to be, Holmes & Yang received an amazing response for its effortlessly chic interpretation of a spring summer 2013 collection.
Katie Holmes was on hand backstage at the show to help with last minute adjustments and organisation but did not take any interviews. Although their Facebook page suggested that they were pleased with outcome after posting a photograph of the two designers, Katie Holmes and Jeanne Yang, with their catwalk models, stating “Thank you to everyone who helped create our beautiful SS13 presentation. That’s a wrap!”
