Being one of the newest and most talked about models at the moment, the world is going gaga over Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The British super model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley recently debuted her own line at Marks & Spencer this past August. The line is named Rosie for Autograph and solely consists of lingerie, namely pieces with vintage inspiration.
Her collection has been doing tremendously well, so well in fact that on launch day, four pieces were sold every minute. The line went on the shelves September 29, almost two weeks ahead of schedule. Some pieces include taupe cashmere trousers, long silk and lace night dresses and long-sleeved silk wraps.
Rosie has said of her new line, “My goal was to create a luxurious collection which could flatter women of all ages and sizes, inspiring confidence and making women feel gorgeous in their lingerie. I made sure each design incorporated different shapes of bra and knicker together with camis and kimonos to complement the figure.”
The 25-year-old model was born in Devon, England and has made her claim to fame as a Victoria’s Secret and Agent Provocateur model. Her stunts have not only included these famous lingerie brands. The super model has done campaigns for Godiva, Miss Sixty, Prada, Burberry and has been featured on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, and British Vogue.
Like many stars, Rosie wanted to do more than just model. She became even more known in 2011 as she was cast alongside Shia Labeouf in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. She replaced Megan Fox as the female lead. Despite some lukewarm reviews, Rosie will continue to pursue her acting career. She is set to star in the film Mad Max: Fury Road in 2012 with Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. The movie is directed by George Miller, who explains the plot to be, “…a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa. This movie is an account of the Road War, which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived.”
The super model has been keeping herself busy with 44-year-old British boyfriend, Jason Statham. The relationship began in April of 2010 after being seen at Coachella together. The tabloids have not been so nice to the couple. One report said that she had a crush on Olympian Tom Daley, while another claimed Stratham to fall for Jennifer Lopez, one of his co-stars. Another report in May stated that Rosie’s biological clock was ticking, as she waiting impatiently for Statham to propose. A representative for her completely denied the rumor, stating, and “Her biological clock? She is 25 years old! This is just another tabloid fabrication.” Yet, despite these tabloid rumors, Rosie and Jason are still very happy, recently being reunited after both filming for weeks.
