Forget the 2012 Bond girls, we’re more interested in Daniel Craig’s real-life wife, Rachel Weisz.
The 42-year-old actress unfortunately didn’t walk the red carpet at the London premiere of Skyfall, but she was spotted meeting and greeting the royal family inside Royal Albert Hall.
While the cameras were focusing on Berenice Marlohe in a strapless Vivienne Westwood and Naomie Harris’s risqué Marios Schwab, Rachel’s Chanel Haute Couture gown was simple and elegant. The dusty pink gown from the Fall 2012 collection features embellished cut-outs, cap sleeves and an exposed back. Ladies, here’s a lesson for you: while it’s nice to make a splash at a big event, there’s still something to be said for classic chic. Whether it’s a LBD or a timeless maxi, make sure you always keep your basic go-to dress in easy reach.
Rachel accessorized with silver jewellery, a box clutch and of course 007 himself (who also looked rather dapper in Tom Ford). Looks like Bond has finally made his choice in lovely ladies, and we couldn’t agree more.
