Vanity Fair‘s new Hollywood Issue brings together over 75 top-ranking stars. The cover, shot by Bruce Weber, features Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone.
To add authenticity to the vintage-themed photo-shoot, the three actors posed on the infamous bed from The Godfather- the one in which the prize horse’s head is found.
Ben Affleck, Emma Stone and Bradley Cooper have had an impressive year. Both Cooper and Affleck are nominated for Academy Awards. Affleck indeed cemented his status as a top director with his powerful film, Argo. Cooper’s acting skills in Silver Linings Playbook were rewarded with multiple accolades, including a nomination for Best Actor. Our fave leading lady, Emma Stone has become more and more of a favorite in the public’s eye.
In a sense, this issue celebrates what is beyond what the eye can see. Vanity Fair explains,”This year’s portfolio is a celebration of the friendships that thrive among the people who call it a home.” Other celebrities featured in the issue include Olivia Wilde, Kerry Washington and youngest-ever best-actress nominee Quvenzhané Wallis.
