Real-life bond-girl, British actress and wife of Bond lead Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz has just made a very striking appearance on the front cover of the UK Harper’s Bazaar.
Looking ever the siren on the March 2013 magazine cover, Weisz sports a rich raspberry-red Gucci Spring/Summer 2013 dress, with a plunging, unbuttoned neckline. We absolutely adore the ’60s inspired bell-sleeves, and the chunky, waist-cinching belt. With a slicked-back updo and a raspberry lip, Rachel is as gorgeous as we’d expect of Mrs. Bond.
Rachel Weisz has an extremely successful acting career spanning two decades, and began acting during her degree days at Cambridge University. With such experience behind her, it comes as no surprise that Rachel is a triple-threat: she is a successful television, film and theatre actress. You will have spotted the brunette beauty in a huge range of productions, including but not limited to Inspector Morse, The Mummy, About A Boy, A Streetcar Named Desire and more recently, The Bourne Legacy. But it was Rachel’s outstanding performance as murder-victim Tessa Quayle, in 2005’s The Constant Gardener that received a hugely positive response. For this role, Weisz was awarded the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ Award at the Academy Awards, the Golden Globe Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Additionally, she was honoured with ‘British Actress of the Year’ at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, ‘Best Actress’ at the British Independent Film awards and even more!
We’re incredibly excited to see what Rachel has in store for us in the upcoming Oz: The Great and the Powerful movie, and we’re sure that this beauty will do the Wicked Witch of the East much justice.
