Best Dressed Of The Week: The Brit Awards Edition
From parties to premieres, Kimberlee Oo brings us the weekly red carpet wrap-up.
Ahead of this Sunday’s Academy Awards, our English compatriots turned up the glamour at the 2013 Brit Awards. The annual music awards were held at London’s O2 Arena and featured stars such as Taylor Swift, JT and Robbie Williams. Emeli Sande and Ben Howard were two of the big winners, taking home the Best British Female and Best British Male respectively. But enough with the formalities… It’s all about the frock-fest!
Taylor Swift
FINALLY. Taylor takes a much-needed break from her embellished and Grecian gowns, stepping out in a dramatic black Elie Saab look. Without a sequin in sight, Taylor definitely shed her good girl image, showing off her pins with thigh high sheer splits. A skinny metallic belt and matching cuff added a futuristic element and a touch of shine. This grown-up look puts Taylor takes Taylor from blah to TADA!
Jourdan Dunn
Speaking of killer legs, British model Jourdan Dunn has to have one of the hottest bods in the business. Donning a new season Balmain mini dress, the 22-year-old showed off her flawless skin in a complimentary canary yellow shade. Strappy sandals and bronze make-up made for a relaxed, but super-sexy look.
Analeigh Tipton
Okay, so Analeigh isn’t at the Brit Awards, but we couldn’t go past this divine Georges Hobelka dress. Walking the red carpet at the Bvlgari event in Los Angeles, the Crazy, Stupid, Love breakout star looked incredible in an embellished raspberry cocktail gown. A demure knee-length hem gives it a grown-up feel, while the low V-neck keeps it from looking too mumsy. Add a smattering of sequins, a cinched-in waist and the ever-popular Rupert Sanderson pumps, Analeigh scores a 10/10.
