Best Dressed Of The Week: Rose Byrne

Rose Byrne is a bit like the Australian equivalent of Olivia Palermo – the same shiny hair, the same elegant poise, and the same uncanny ability to pull together one seriously polished look.
In LA for the premiere of The Internship, Rose chose a stunning pastel pink wool-and-lace dress from the Pucci Fall 2013 collection. The cut out sides flashed a hint of side boob (in the best way), while the open Chantilly-lace back is sexy without trying. The extra centimetre of polka dot lace hem is surprisingly sweet- almost as though her petticoat is showing. A cute bow over the bust is the only accessory this feminine frock needs, and Rose tops it all off with satin Ferragamo pumps, soft waves and glowing pink cheeks.
Cut outs are a great summer look, and as Rose proves, can work as well for nighttime as for the beach. Paler shades teamed with lace or other sheers take it out of festival territory and instead give the slits a grown-up, glam vide. Olivia Palermo would be proud.
