Made In Chelsea Starlets Attend The Clothes Show Relaunch Party
Many of us know The Clothes Show as an annual fashion packed shopping and catwalk event held at the NEC Birmingham and more recently at the Excel in London. However, once upon a time, The Clothes Show was a weekly magazine show dedicated to clothes. A television staple for any fashionista worth her wardrobe, the show paved the way for the annual mega-event that is The Clothes Show Live, inspired by bringing the catwalk experience to the masses.
We couldn’t have been more excited here at Your Coffee Break when we learnt that the show we adored is set to return to our screens via YouTube and after some serious anticipation it’s finally here. Speaking about the re-launch, Clothes Show Live Managing Director and Executive Producer Gavin Brown commented: ‘Clothes Show TV has been redeveloped for the generation of the 2013, not the 80’s, to engage with the Clothes Show audience of today who are increasingly watching TV on mobile devices, in short bursts.’
To celebrate the re-launch of the show, Clothes Show TV threw a star-studded party and Your Coffee Break was invited to the exclusive event. The invite-only private party was hosted at Retro Feast in London’s Embassy, in the cities most luxurious area of Mayfair. The event boasted an A-list guest list including Britain’s very own queen of soul, Beverley Knight, Nathalie Emmanuel, star of Game of Thrones as well as Made in Chelsea stars Cheska Hull and Ashley James. Clothes Show TV legend Caryn Franklin showed her support for the event with adored British Designer Henry Holland, giving the re-launch of the show fashion seal of approval.
Needless to say we had the most fabulous of evenings. UK girl band The Dolly Rockers got the party going with a lively performance whilst us guests relaxed amongst the lush surroundings, indulged in delicious 80’s inspired canapés and sipped on G’Vine gin cocktails. Once the party was in full swing and we took to the dance floor, where we were joined by TOWIE star Lauren Pope and the delectable heartthrobs from boy band Times Red.
Following the glamorous launch party, Clothes Show TV is now available on YouTube, free of charge to subscribers. The show is set to go live three times a week and promises to feature a plethora of entertainment. The show will debut with must-watch content such as interviews with Designer Henry Holland, iconic fashion expert Hilary Alexander and the pink haired queen of British fashion Zandra Rhodes. Caryn Franklin will also grace the show as she reminisces about her favourite Clothes Show TV moments. Viewers will also be lucky enough to view a sneak peek of the Clothes Show Live campaign, featuring supermodel Jade Thompson, via exclusive behind the scenes footage.
And the show is set to feature more than just fashion. The weekly schedule has Monday dedicated to Showbiz; Wednesday for Fashion and Friday will be reserved for Hair & Beauty (all we need to help get us set for Friday night). The show will be presented by a host of well-known fashion & beauty bloggers and regular episodes will feature of the moment fashion & beauty trends, hair & make up tutorials, red carpet latest all topped off with interviews with fashion insiders and designers.
