Fashion Week Apps, The Must Haves

September 6, 2012

Fashion Week curtains have lifted and we are eager to breath in Spring/Summer 2013 trends, but not without our top 4 Fashion Week Apps.

Front row or in front of your desktop, these fashion week apps will help you check-in to shows, watch live events, note the latest trends,  check out backstage photos and follow all the online buzz surrounding Fashion Week!

1. For those of you attending the shows, Fashion GPS Radar is a go to app for locating and checking in to shows (by scanning your personal ticket barcode), browsing virtual look books, press images, trend reports and events calendar on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Runway Merchandiser is our next suggestion for buyers, merchandisers and stylists attending Fashion Week. This app helps you find out price, size and supplier information about any garments you are interested in, while organizing everything into groups as you plan for the next season. You can also get a quick financial overview and build detailed season stories based on the collected information directly on your runway lookbook

3. Style.com was Condé Nast’s first smartphone app, released back in 2008, that makes you feel like an insider- outsider. You can browse look-by-look slide shows of designer presentations, behind-the-scenes photos, and reviews via a very stylish iPhone and iPad app

4. Last but not least, W Magazine’s Front Row app creates for us a list of recommended restaurants, salons, shopping and cultural destinations to visit in all four Fashion Week cities. You can also check the tweet buzz and the detailed events calendar.

While we would be more than happy to attend each and every show, we do realize that even for the most seasoned fashion week veteran it is impossible to do so.  But luckily with these apps we will not be missing out on anything!
