Every December, color company Pantone chooses one red-hot (excuse the pun) shade to be named as the prestigious Color of the Year… and we’re proud to announce that we’re green with envy (again, excuse the pun) that 2013 is going to be Emerald Green’s time to shine.
Pantone is considered to be the authoritative source on all colors of the rainbow – just last year their pick of Tangerine Tango was seen everywhere from lipstick to lookbooks so there’s no doubt Emerald Green will follow suit. The 2013 runways were already flaunting the jeweled hue – Gucci, Zac Posen, Burberry and Kenzo were just a few ahead of the trends.
