The cool girl’s go-to label, the new collection has all the signature Wang features we’ve come to know and love. Simple silhouettes, luxe fabrics and designer detailing (oh and very cool shoes) all combine to put this firmly top of our lust-have list for SS13. Looking for arm candy? Moving away from its trademark draping, Nicole and Michael Colovos at Helmut Lang opted for a boxier, slouchier look for SS13. Still clean, minimalist and modern, expect to see pieces with a slick, wet look finish (the ocean was a central theme) and don’t be surprised if you see bright colours mixed up with muted tones.
Oh là là. We’ve had a Carven crush for several seasons now and Guillaume Henri doesn’t disappoint again. Inspired by the idea of ‘being lost in India in the 21st Century’, the collection has a moodier feel but keeps that sexy yet sophisticated element with cheeky cut-outs and bold silhouettes.
