The Christian Dior takeover at Harrods, in store from March 16th to April 14th.
Inspired by the long-standing relationship between the House of Dior & Britain’s most famous department store and the culmination of 18 months planning, the Dior wonderland at Harrods is most certainly wonderful. Including a café, a mini-exhibition on the fourth floor, a pop up shop and an extravagant window display, this is one event not to be missed.
A decedent display of dresses worn by famous style icons such as Elizabeth Taylor will feature alongside imagery taken from the brand’s archive and videos explaining the concepts behind the iconic house’s famed campaigns.
Other features include a resplendent giant dolls house, complete with miniature furniture, all constructed from J’Adore Dior perfume bottles and a pop-up store, which sells a collection of exclusive products. For those of us who won’t be indulging ourselves with Raf Simon’s breathtakingly beautiful couture there are still a whole host of treats for everyone. You can visit The Georgian Restaurant, currently transformed into Café Dior, to sample a sumptuous menu inspired by Christian Dior himself. The delicious treats continue in the Harrods Food Hall where you can purchase must-have adorable Dior cupcakes.
Throughout the month you can experience the luxury of Dior throughout the Beauty Halls, have your portrait sketched by an exclusive Dior artist or personalise your favourite Dior perfume with an in-store engraving service.
The Dior Wonderland is now open to the public until April 14th, be sure not to miss it.
