Quite Possibly The Most Exciting Designer Collab Yet
Hands up if you’re a designer collab fan? Come on now, don’t be shy… We’re all guilty of queuing up for a little Lanvin x H&M or Missoni for Target (or even vintage Phillip Lim x GAP).
So (drumroll please), we’re pretty excited about the newly launched Mary Katrantzou x Current/Elliott range at my-wardrobe.com. The Queen of Prints has met her Denim King – think oversized stamps plastered across smocks, shorts and classic-cut jeans.
Inspired by her popular Spring 2013 collection, the nine-piece capsule range is Mary’s first foray into luxe-sportswear. “We thought denim would be a great challenge and with [Current/Elliott], there seemed to be a synergy with our work – from opposite sides of the spectrum. We wanted it to feel very different to what we usually do,” said the designer.
Mary, while we love what you normally do, we’ve got to admit, we’re head over heels for this latest collab.
