Tesco’s F&F Autumn/Winter 13 Fashion Show At Somerset House
Hosted at the prestigious Somerset House, YCB attended this year’s F&F Fashion Show. With champagne flowing, delicious canapés circling the venue, which plays host to London’s fashion week, and the electrifying energy circulating, celebrities and stylish starlets filled the front rows to watch popular British supermarket chain Tesco send numerous noteworthy looks down the catwalk. With style savvy stars like Made in Chelsea’s Amber Artherton, now the brains behind ‘My Flash Trash’ and 90210 beauty Jessica Lowndes in attendance, F&F’s AW13 collection consisted of heavy yet feminine knitwear and tailored outerwear featured in rich jewel tones ranging from a deep garnet to shades of emerald and sapphire.
Founded in 2001, F&F (www.clothingattesco.com), formerly known as Florence & Fred, provides customers with a fashion haven amongst the chaos of your everyday supermarket, allowing the fashion conscious woman to combine her necessary supermarket trip with her desirable high street shopping.
Proving themselves as competition to high street shops, the looks were on trend containing a large emphasis on the monochromatic aesthetic seen in the likes of highly respected veteran design houses Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Tesco, who is set to unveil a new F&F outlet solely specializing in womenswear in Kensington, West London, emphasized a heritage feel with accents of faux fur and the beloved tartan check garnishing their designs.
The collection, which saw innovative and chic Autumn/Winter 2013 designs for both men and women, will be available in larger Tesco stores later this year. With looks and prices that will rival your favorite high street fashion this highly awaited collection, from sporty parkas and bombers to glam bodycon dresses with a sheer paneling, is bound to have something for everyone on your shopping list!
