Harrods Summer Sale
Here at Your Coffee Break, we never miss a moment to whip out our trustee purses in search for some well-earned retail therapy. Enter the Harrods sale with high kicks, jumps and leaps seen amongst their flash dancers who marked the start of this year’s summer sale.
The flash mob included dancers wearing Green Men outfits worn by the legendary door men, whilst the rest were dressed as everyday passers-by, which truly added to the spontaneous feel in the air. Past years have seen Cirque de Soleil performing, and celebrities like Gemma Arterton opening the Sale and this year saw no exception. The theatrical performance ended upon a large confetti blast that marked the start of the sale and the end of our bank accounts.
Every year the sale at Harrods attracts hundreds of bargain hunters to Kensington in search of those special price-points and performances that only Harrods can offer. With queues lining up to the store in order to grab items on offer from brands such as Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Givenchy and Alexander McQueen, we decided to leave it to the eager crowd to blow the luxury department store out of the water.
