Candice Swanepoel on wearing a $10 million bra
The annual Victoria’s Secret show is just around the corner, and the gorgeous Candice Swanepoel has just been announced as the lucky Angel to wear the coveted Royal Fantasy Bra. Following in the footsteps of Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum, the 25-year-old South African beauty will this year wear the world’s most expensive bra, worth a whopping $10 million.
The Fantasy Bra is always the showstopper of the Victoria’s Secret show, and this year’s is more exquisite than ever before. Boasting over 4,200 gems, including Candice’s personal favourite, a 52-carat ruby, the bra comes with its own set of security guards and has been personally moulded to the supermodel’s enviable body.
Shooting a behind-the-scenes video for the VS Dreams and Fantasies catalogue, Candice reveals what it’s really like to wear $10 million worth of jewels. “I’ve never seen anything more beautiful. And I’m a girl who loves jewellery!” she says. “Women love jewellery, love diamonds, but I didn’t expect it to sparkle quite like this.” She also admits that wearing the exclusive bra and matching belt makes her pose a little bit better.
