The Beckhams go Vogue
Victoria Beckham is mixing work with pleasure as both the star and editor of the December issue of Vogue Paris. Sharing the double cover with her soccer stud husband David, the Beckhams prove they’ve still got the spark, even after 14 years of marriage. In the exclusive shoot by celebrated photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadi, Victoria allows readers a rare insight into her personal life, publishing personal photos and revealing that “David and I have been through so much together. We’ve had our ups and downs, but we’re so proud of each other.”
As a guest editor of the prestigious title, Victoria – who has also previously guest edited an issue of Glamour – worked closely with Vogue Paris editor-in-chief, Emmanuelle Alt. “We handed over the running of this issue to a woman who, throughout our working together, has proved to be the exact opposite of her public image,” said Emmanuelle. “She is spontaneous with a great sense of humour; humble, yet at the same time driven by a healthy ambition. She is a perfectionist, like everyone who is passionate about their work.”
