Iutta is making its UK debut at Pure London
As fashionable Londoners, we like to keep up with emerging trends and new fashion brands. That’s why we are excited to introduce you to the new premium fashion label Iutta, with tales of inner heritage.
February is shaping up to be quite the busy month for the Romanian fashion label as its making its UK debut at Pure London 2016, London’s dynamic fashion event which takes place at Olympia from 14-16 February. With this occasion, the brand is showcasing its new arrival, the ‘Bird in space’ collection, connected to a mystical creature embodying a supreme longing for infinity, and the ‘Longing to belong’ collection, inspired from a strong sense of identity with a folklorique touch.
Iutta’s latest addition, the ‘Bird in space’ fashion line, reflects the content of a Romanian legend about a bird goddess which is spreading a celestial light, fascinating those who are looking at it. By introducing carefully embroidered motifs which feature the symbol of the majestic being in its centre of its design, the brand pays a tribute to the story behind it.
The fashion label will also showcase the ‘Longing to belong’ collection, where cultural wealth is reflected through bespoke motifs with a strong meaning that can be encountered in historic architecture, folk costumes and IA, the Romanian blouse. The collection is a synthesis of the emotional connection to our natural surroundings and it includes embellished handbags with symbols that made the brand a trademark in the creative industry.
Nicoleta Chirica, founder & designer behind the Iutta brand, says: ”We are very excited about this opportunity of launching our collections at Pure London, where we can present our story and share the inspiration behind our fashion creations with a key audience. For an emerging brand based in Romania it is vital to interact with international buyers and publications who can contribute to generating a global exposure for our iconic creations. This way, our local culture will have a worldwide stand, where conversations about common, yet distinctive cultural features are welcomed.”
Iutta’s product portfolio for this notorious trade exhibition contains the latest collections of women leather handbags and must-have accessories such as clutches, shoes, wallets, card holders, gadget cases, gloves and even a special line of bags for children, all under the brand`s traditional signature: the embroidered motifs.
Apart from the attendance to this event, Iutta also took part at GDS, an international event for shoes and accessories, in Düsseldorf, Micam fair in Milano and cultural events which took place in Portugal, Dublin, Berna and Haga.
