For any Beliebers in need of some new duds, Selfridges has it covered this Summer…
Music and style have joined forces yet again as Justin Bieber’s new Merch collection, in association with the ‘Purpose the Stadium’ tour and Bravado, lands at high-end department store Selfridges.
Think casual with a smattering of hip-hop and a skater boy edge and you’ve got a pretty good handle on the face of Calvin Klein’s latest foray into accessible fashion for the masses.
Available to buy in London, Manchester and Birmingham in store, as well as online, the pop Prince’s new collection, launched to coincide with his highly-anticipated performance at the sell-out British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park and Selfridges’ Music Matters campaign, features an easy-to-wear and appealing collection of fashion-forward t-shirts, sweats, yoga pants and hoodies as well as special UK editions available exclusively at Selfridges, in store and online, until October 18. Or more likely until the collection, which is expected to fly off the shelves at record speed in weeks, sells out.
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last ten-years, the baby-faced twenty-three-year-old Justin Bieber made chart history as the first artist ever to bag number ones on the Hot 100 in back-to-back weeks with the Despacito Remix and the DJ Khaled-collaboration ‘I’m The One’ becoming Bieber’s fourth and fifth number one singles – pretty impressive, no?
What’s more, Justin’s ‘Purpose’ album, released on November 13, 2015, opened at number one in over 100 countries around the world, has sold over 10 million copies globally to date, and garnered a 2016 Grammy nomination for Album Of The Year, so it’s no wonder so many people want to emulate the pocket-sized Canadian’s signature casual street style while brands are clamouring to be associated with the most tweeted about artist on Twitter and an overall social media sensation. Not to mention the paparazzi’s favourite bad boy whose brushes with the law are only outnumbered by his role call of gorgeous high-profile girlfriends whose household names pepper the lyrics of his chart topping tunes as well as keeping the world’s gossip columns on their toess.
But Justin is deeper than he might appear. Just last month he proved himself to be far more than a teenage tearaway with a predictable taste for fast cars and pretty girls as he put his own lucrative plans on hold and joined fellow US pop poppet Ariana Grande and a host of other international artists in Manchester for a touching star-studded tribute to those who lost their lives or were injured in the Manchester bombings, garnering him a reputation as more than just a pretty face with a penchant for the high-life and cementing his credentials as one of the stand-out stars of his generation as well as a much-hyped Millenial style icon and super-talented music legend. And he’s only just got started. Justin Bieber, we salute you!
