With a 200-year history, Pringle of Scotland can be considered one of the oldest luxury fashion brands in the world. Synonymous with a high end, country lifestyle, Pringle of Scotland is famous for chic knitwear and classic ready to wear collections. As with all luxury brands though, the finer things do come at a price – so imagine the grins that spread across the YCB office when we received word of an exclusive sample sale!
No need to rub your eyes there, you read that right! Yes, Pringle of Scotland are holding a sample sale at The Box, Hackney Walk where you can expect discounts of up to 80% off the luxury heritage brand on everything from their iconic knitwear, ready to wear collections and accessories. There will be stock from a variety of seasons, including archive pieces, from both men’s and women’s collections.
Located at Hackney Walk opposite Burberry’s outlet store in Chatham Place, The BOX provides an independent platform for emerging and established designers. Previous sales have included luxury retailer Liberty London, Nicole Farhi, Gieves and Hawkes, Casely-Hayford and Peter Jensen with many more names and dates to be revealed soon.
Loved by celebrities from Olivia Palermo to Clara Paget, the Pringle of Scotland sample sale is sure to delight fashion lovers from London and beyond looking to nab a piece from the brand.
The sale only lasts for three days so we would advise going as early as possible so you don’t miss out!
You’ve all seen Confessions of a Shopaholic I’m sure, and no one wants to play tug of war with a Pringle of Scotland cashmere sweater do they? We would advise going with a few pieces in mind, or styles that you’re likely to find. For example, the YCB team are lusting over items such as a camel coat, a grey cashmere cardigan and wide leg wool pants. Having an idea of what you’re looking for will result in less sample sale anxiety and you’ll be free to shop the sale with ease knowing you planned ahead. There’s method in all the fashionable madness, just make sure you multiply the number of shots in your coffee tomorrow if you’re planning on queuing for a long time!
Prices will start from £10. A discretionary £1 donation on entry to The BOX will be donated to the Stitch Academy charity. The money raised from these donations will act as a bursary each year to pay for students to get places on fashion courses within prestigious universities.
