You may have thought as we entered this new decade that we would take fashion from another decade besides the 90s like maybe the 80s or the 1760s (a very underrated decade fashion-wise.) But alas, no. We still have not brought back every 90s trend and there were a lot of accessories as you may recall.
Well luckily Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Mrs. Bieber, who can literally wear burlap sacks and make them look good, have decided to make the claw clip a thing again. The claw clip was literally what you did when you had tried all other routes and there was simply nothing to be done with your gross, dirty hair except put it in a cage-like apparatus that got it it off your face.
The claw clip kind of gives you this old fashioned look as it isn’t really a ponytail but it is not quite down. You could imagine Joe March maybe grabbing one on her way out the door.
But for now all the fashion girls are into them and they are all over Instagram!
They are a bit more functional then those sparkly barrettes everyone was trying to get us wear and though I do love a big headband sometimes you don’t need to look like Anne Boleyn at work.
