Now that Spring is finally here and with Summer soon to come, we’re looking forward to everything that comes along with it. It is a festive season and there are plenty of reasons to start preparing for celebrations. There’ll be Proms, Graduations, Weddings, May Day, Father’s Day, Birthdays & leaving parties… the whole lot! And there’s no reason not to begin prepping early, and of course, we’ve got your back in that area!
Us ladies love nothing more than a fabulous-tasting cake at a good knees-up, so we’ve done some thorough research. We’ve scouted out the best sugar spots in town, and it is true that you can find some of the tastiest goods from bakeries in Kensington, Notting Hill, Covent Garden and more. We also came across the Little London Bakery, based in Hampstead – one of London’s most scrumptious secrets! These sweet treats are available for delivery or collection only – which is perfect when you’re busy hosting a Spring/Summer bash if you ask us!
Founded by Carly Little, Little London Bakery is producing incredibly tasty and affordable cakes with unique designs. Not only does the bakery have a huge range of different cakes and flavours, but it provides an impressive bespoke service, ensuring that orders can be tailor-made to your vision. Little London Bakery specialises in celebration and occasion cakes, and its design-visionary Carly, has successfully created tasty treats for many different occasions, much to her customers’ delight. The bakery provides cakes for birthdays, weddings, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Halloween and more, and has even received a Royal seal of approval. Last year, Little London Bakery provided a unique cake at an event celebrating the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens, which was cut by HRH The Duke of Wales, Prince Charles!
In addition to its speciality, cupcakes, the Little London Bakery menu also consists of layered cakes, loaf cakes, traybakes, biscuits, cookies and one of the latest cake-trends – the cake-pop. This bakery only uses high-quality ingredients, and no additives or preservatives – you can be sure that your Little London treats will always have that gorgeous, fresh, homemade taste. The range of sizes and flavours is very wide and varied, and as well and traditional, mouth-watering flavours, there are also some unique tastes on offer.
