Tennis anyone? We’re craving Christabel’s!

We like parties. We definitely like themed parties. But food-themed parties – it’s too good to be true isn’t it?!

Christabel's catering pop up

Bespoke catering events company Christabel’s themed-food is taking the events world by storm, with fun parties that offer everything from edible tennis balls to edible board games. Offering a range of event catering that will have everyone talking about your occasion for weeks to come, Christabel has captured the hearts of her guests with her innovative catering.

Christabel'sChristabel loves food, and her passion for experimenting with exotic flavours and creative ideas has led her catering company to achieve huge success. As a keen traveller, her trips have inspired and backdropped all of her inventions. She’s even worked at the world-renowned restaurant Noma in Copenhagen. Most recently she’s catered for Nike’s launch parties for both ‘We Own the Night’ and ‘Riccardo Tisci’, as well as hosting stalls at KERB and Camden Creative.

Christabel’s imagination has elevated her food (downright delicious!) to the kind that will enchant your guests. With summer on the horizon, one of our favourites is the Seaside theme. Christabel provides a rustic setting, with sand, seashells and fish (fake ones, don’t worry) for a centrepiece, and gorgeous seafood to boot. Beautiful dishes and seafaring cocktails bring the seaside to you, and you can visit the shore without stepping a mile out of London. Brilliant when you’re looking to throw a summer dinner party.

Alternatively, if you prefer an evening surrounded in an eden of foliage and flora, we will always recommend the Secret Garden theme, set around a long banqueting table and complimented with a seasonal three course supper and cocktail influences by a stage at The River Café (fresh produce, yes please!).

One of Christabel’s most popular services is her Wimbledon-themed event, where she can provide clients with the venue, cocktail bar, and a three-course Wimbledon inspired lunch along with live streaming of the matches. You can either arrange your own Wimbledon party, or attend one of Christabel’s popular events around the city of London.

More mouth-watering than Nadal, Federer and Murray put together.

Mad Hatters brunch party LondonFor your very own wonderland, Christabel’s has a Mad-hatter themed event. With true English etiquette, Christabel serves up a round of cheese and spicy honey scones, celery and peanut butter and piles of pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. This event was Christabel’s first, and the fun playing cards, ‘Eat Me’ signs, tasty board games and beautiful cake-stands have led to features in publications like the Metro and Square Meal.

“I aim to create experiences that are out of the ordinary – combining weird & wonderful concoctions and sourcing spaces which wouldn’t otherwise be visited,” says Christabel.

cocktail service LondonTo add another reason why we can’t get enough of this events company, Christabel’s knows how to make a good cocktail. With a selection of homemade recipes on offer, you can pick the perfect poison for the occasion to keep everyone merry. Christabel’s even has a mixologist who can create bespoke cocktails that suit you and your guests perfectly, meaning you can surprise your party with never-seen before concoctions.

Launching in July will be the addition of a Botanical Cocktail Bar. A list of traditional drinks with a unique and fun twist will be on offer completed with its very own herb garden. The mobile service will be sure to make hosting pre-drinks with friends a snap.

British food with a twist - Christabel's“My food is British – with a twist,” says Christabel. To add that English touch, hand-painted plates and quaint teacups are on hand to really capture the theme and guests are even able to get their cutlery personalised to a preferred colour scheme if desired.

Now, even the menu cards are hand-painted, creating a truly unique experience for you and your guests. If you love the décor, a selection of her pottery is also available to purchase online, meaning you can bring the Christabel’s experience home.

If it all sounds too wonderful to choose, Christabel’s has started to merge events. In a beautiful romance, Christabel has combined her Wimbledon events with her Mad Hatter events in her Wimbledon Wonderland evening. Set on the exciting night of the Wimbledon finals, Christabel will be serving up experiential food aimed to make the evening a night to remember. Whatever the outcome – Christabel’s offers the perfect night to either celebrate or commiserate over a range of tasty treats.
