It just got a bit harder to stalk people on Instagram. The social media platform is currently testing out a feature that would flag users who screenshot a public Instagram Story. It hasn’t been turned on for all users yet but it is only a matter of time.
TechCrunch reports that users who have screenshotted stories get a fun little pop-up informing them “Next time you take a screenshot or screen recording, the person who posted the story will be able to see it.” Ummm creepy much?
Currently the Stories feature tells you who has watched your story when you tap on the “seen by” area. This feature will take it a step farther as now a small circle will go up next to the name of the user that took a screen grab. So now they can clearly identify if you are stalking someone. Awesome.
