Interflora and Pinkster Gin launch ‘Ginthepink’, an ode to the last days of summer

It was a normal Wednesday afternoon in the YCB office, we were tapping away working on features for the latest trends and beauty news. A knock at the door and a visit from the postman and suddenly our Wednesday afternoon took a turn, gin and flowers? Erm, yes please! This is one package we were very keen to get our mitts on. Who says you can’t drink gin at 2pm on a Wednesday? Not us!

What more could you possible want to brighten up your afternoon? Beautiful pink blooms to brighten up the room and two bottles of the cutest Pinkster gin. Yum!

To celebrate the final few days of summer, Interflora has teamed up with premium artisanal gin, Pinkster, to launch the limited edition Ginthepink: a pink hued floral bouquet and gin gift pack. Did you know that floral notes are actually incorporated in the gin-making process for hundreds of years! So as it turns, gin and flowers make for the perfect pairing. And we’re *very* on board.

The bouquet is inspired by both the colours and delicate notes of the famed Pinkster gin. The result is a stunning abundance of colour and scent with roses, spray Veronica and lisianthks flowers, along with Pinkster gin, of course…

Perfect for gifting (ahem, of self gifting), this is the ideal pressie to send to your BFF, sister or mum as little surprise and pick-me-up. It’s limited edition though, and only available for 4 weeks so be quick!

Pinkster’s master mixologist has also created an exclusive floral-inspired cocktail recipe, Pink Gin Tease, to celebrate the launch, for customers to recreate at home.

Pink Gin Tease

40ml Pinkster Gin

25ml Chamomile or Rosebud Tea

15ml Lemon Juice

15ml Simple Syrup

Build in a tall glass over ice and add a splash of sparkling rose wine.

Sounds simply heavenly!

Ginthepink costs £50 and is available to purchase online now until Friday 14th September.
