Party Experts Predict the Biggest Easter Trends for 2025
With Easter eggs becoming increasingly expensive, how can you make sure that Easter is still exciting for all the family?

With research revealing that the cost of Easter eggs is up by as much as 50% since last year, while some have shrunk in size, how else can you make Easter fun and exciting for all the family?
Holly Burns, Balloons and Party Category Manager at the leading card and party supplies wholesaler, Tiger Feet, shares how Easter decorating has become increasingly popular over recent years, and three ways you can incorporate it into your home this year.

Easter bunny balloons
“A big trend that has been on the rise in recent years is easter balloons for children, in particular bunny balloons. Balloons have become increasingly popular over recent years within gifting, and this year we have seen a 121% increase in the sale of Easter foil balloons compared to 2024.” Holly shares.
“The Easter trend sees bunny head-shaped foil balloons joined with additional round or long balloons to create full-size bunnies – or even XL versions! Varying from bright colours to more neutral designs, the playful balloons are being gifted alongside an easter egg or gift box to children, adding a bit of easter bunny magic to the day.
“While the Easter bunny balloons may look elaborate, it is possible to DIY them at home, with many TikTok videos showing you how to make the bunny balloon stacks yourself at home.”
Easter tablescaping
“Easter hosting has also been taken up a notch over the past few years, with people investing in elaborate tablescapes when hosting family over the Easter weekend. There are many different tablescape themes you could opt for over the Easter weekend including traditional farmhouse styles and pretty pastels.” Holly explains.
“The most important thing to think about when tablescaping is your centrepiece, as this is what will grab your guest’s attention, and be prominent in any pictures of the day. Instead of a classic centrepiece of flowers, why not take it up a notch and add carrots or Easter eggs into your arrangement, bringing Easter energy to your table.”
DIY arts and crafts

Holly shares: “Easter DIY arts and crafts projects have always been popular, from creating Easter bonnets and baskets, to decorating eggs and more recently Easter wreaths have seen an uplift.
“Wreaths for all seasons have become very trendy, and Easter is no exception to this, with floral pastels and mini egg designs popular styles for this year. Wreaths are quite easy to DIY as you can get a pre-made base for them and then add in different easter decorations, such as fluffy mini chicks, ribbons or mini easter eggs.
“If you are not into having a wreath on your door, but want to get crafty this easter, decorating easter eggs is a good one for the family to get involved in. Using hard-boiled eggs or blown-out eggs for a more permanent option, with paint or marker pens you can draw Easter designs, such as bunnies and carrots, or spring flowers onto them.”
