Come January starlet AnnaSophia Robb has some big shoes, or should we say Manolos, to fill.
The 18-year-old actress will star as a young Carrie Bradshaw in The CW’s new series, The Carrie Diaries, set to premiere this winter.
Set in the early 1980s the series will feature a 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw, a role made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City, attempting to navigate her way through the worlds of high school and Manhattan. With her mom having passed away, nothing seems to take Carrie’s mind off her troubles, not even the hot new transfer student Sebastian, played by Austin Butler.
Once offered the opportunity to intern at a Manhattan law firm everything changes for Carrie as she is swept away by the glitz and glamour of, her first true love, New York City.
