Predictions for 2025 Gift Lists

Gift Guru Liza Baucher from The Wedding Shop tells Hitched that their buyers expect to see several exciting trends to emerge for next year’s gifting.

“Scalloped designs, ditsy florals, and rattan will make a stylish comeback, think modern heritage. Traditional sophisticated homewares that mix classic elegance with modern twists will also be popular, we have already seen this start to spike. Also, serve ware, particularly platters with fun designs, will be in high demand.

“Nautical-themed items featuring sea creatures like lobsters and fish will bring a coastal vibe to home décor too which will be a fun addition to wedding registries. Handmade tableware with a ‘homemade’ look and feel will add a personal touch.

“Experiences, both in the UK and abroad, will continue to be added, as couples prioritise memorable moments especially as the cost of travel is rising as are the cost of weddings. Travel-related gifts such as honeymoon essentials and high-quality luggage will be trending. Additionally, outdoor dining essentials like heaters and cooking equipment will make alfresco dining experiences even better.”
