Perfectly situated within the hustle and bustle of Chelsea’s prestigious Kings Road, JuJu is a sleek and stylish bar with a first-class atmosphere. The soft-lighting, plush leather seating and the hearty chocolate colour-scheme all exude serenity and elegance, making JuJu the perfect location for evening-time drinks, socialising and a delicious meal. From 10pm, with the addition of JuJu’s exclusive DJ, this versatile space ups the tempo, transforming into a swanky and lively bar, drawing in an elegant and friendly crowd.

Entering the venue on an early Friday evening, we were warmly greeted and settled down with ease into the peaceful and lush ambience. The staff were quick, efficient and very helpful; not only did they excellently cater to our every needs, they had a very detailed knowledge of their products, and were easily able to answer all of our questions. It was also a delight to see that the staff were impeccably dressed – even their clothing corresponded with the charming colour-scheme of the venue. The food menu comprised of a great selection of sumptuous dishes, originating from Eastern and South-East Asia.
Our food arrived promptly and was freshly prepared with a charming presentation. Our taste buds were truly titillated by a diverse platter, including tasty dishes such as Homemade Crispy Filo Mango Prawns and Mini Duck Rolls. Our platter was perfectly accompanied with a selection of sauces and dips.
The cocktails were rich and full of flavour, and it was clear that each cocktail recipe was thoughtfully and carefully selected. As well as having classic and original cocktails, the menu also hosts unique takes on traditional cocktails, not limited to but including the Chelsea Iced Tea and the Mango Mai Tai. The additional of fresh Mango purée reinvigorates this traditional Mai Tai, making a very welcome and tasty change. JuJu’s signature cocktail, Midnight in JuJu, was an innovative and fruity creation, boasting moreish tastes of Pear vodka, blackberries, apple juice and berry liqueur. The fresh tastes of the cocktails were great palate cleansers after our rich meals.
JuJu also has a well equipped VIP room and a Private Room, with capacities of 25 people and 80 people, if you wish to host your own event. Alternatively, the whole venue is up for hire with a grand capacity of 300 people.
Since its inception, JuJu has been a resounding success and has been welcomed with open arms by the bar communities. JuJu has won a range of much-deserved and prestigious awards; Best New Bar 2009, Outstanding Mixology 2010, Best Bar 2011 most recently, Best DJ Bar at the Club and Bar Awards 2012.
