Each Monday many dieters vow never to touch a chocolate biscuit, exercise three times a week and lose that weight once and for all. And then when they fall off the wagon by the afternoon faced with the waft of a Krispy Kreme doughnut, they wonder where they went wrong?
This is because we make such strict demands on ourselves they are hard to stick to. So if you’ve always approached your diet in the same way you’ll get the same results – failure.
So why not change what you are doing and resolve to eat healthy from now on? For the majority of the time, eat fresh fruit, vegetables, good fats, nuts and seeds. When you do fancy a treat remember have some, enjoy it but keep the portions in control – make this way of eating a lifestyle.
Remember being healthy is a journey not a marathon.
