Despite it being an early Sunday morning, the fashion world was bright eyed and bushy tailed yesterday, eagerly awaiting the unveiling of Mulberry’s AW13 collection.
Being showcased at the Ballroom in Claridge’s, which was transformed into a beautiful British garden, it was a who’s who of the A-List elite with the likes of Alex Chung, Lana Del Ray and Juno Temple all in attendance. Perhaps most notably sat in the front row was none other than Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue, casting her all-knowing fashion eyes over the brand’s latest items.
On viewing Mulberry’s latest collection, we were speechless! This was absolutely their best runway show so far! Model of the moment Cara Delevinge looked breathtaking hitting the catwalk. Wearing matt leather and with the most impressive bulk shoulder detailing we’ve ever seen, it’s clear from this London Fashion Week show that 90’s nostalgia is making a big comeback this AW13 season but with a more mature approach, so start colour blocking and add a touch of brocade to your spring ensembles.
