Introducing elho’s Winery Collection: Sustainable Elegance Inspired by French Vineyards

Sustainable plant pot innovator, elho, has unveiled its latest innovation in eco-friendly pots for houseplants – the winery collection. Crafted from 100% agricultural plastic waste sourced from the vineyards of France, this collection brings a new lease of life to unwanted materials. Providing the perfect home for houseplants, it combines rich hues inspired by the colours of grapes and red wine with contemporary interior colour trends, adding a touch of style to any décor.

To create the range, the B Corp business has partnered with a local French and Dutch company to source, sort and untangle the used twines gathered from vineyards across the Alsace and Champagne regions. This collaboration aims to tackle Europe’s growing challenge with agricultural plastic waste, such as that generated in picturesque French vineyards where plastic twines play a crucial role in grape cultivation.

With two shades to choose from – Bordeaux red and deep purple – the winery collection is inspired by the grapes that it is so deeply connected to and echoes the essence of French vineyard landscapes.

Available in sizes 14cm, 16cm, 18cm and 22cm, each pot also features a trendy ribbed texture for added aesthetics. They’re not just eco-friendly but also budget-friendly too, starting from just £6.49. As with all elho products, the winery collection is made using renewable energy. While the range is designed to last for many years to come, it is also 100% recyclable.

“At elho, we are committed to turning valuable waste streams into beautifully designed pots,” said Patty Willems, PR Manager at elho. “Through our collaboration with ADIVALOR and Healix, we are excited to present the winery collection – a range that not only brings a touch of elegance to the home, but also supports environmentally-friendly practices within the renowned Alsace and Champagne regions.”

“We believe that sustainability should not compromise style,” added Patty. “With the winery collection, consumers can add even more greenery to their living spaces with elegant pieces that contribute to a greener future.”

The winery collection joins elho’s line up of exclusive products that utilise plastic waste streams and turns them into plant pots. The ocean collection is made from maritime plastic, reclaiming discarded fishing nets and ropes from the ocean to create unique marbled blue and green flowerpots that reflect the waves of the sea, while the coffee collection transforms discarded coffee bean waste sourced through Coffee Based into chic dark espresso-coloured pots.
